Team Report
A feisty encounter between two good football teams. Tension was quite tensed even in the early minutes of the game as both teams try to get their rhythm and game plan to execute.
Sparta scored two good goals as their attacking pressure paid dividends to the defensive lapse from Matador. With spirits high in Sparta's camp, they went into the half time break 2-0 up.
At half time, Matador tried a tactical change to try to take the game back to Sparta. Somehow the half time team talk seems to lift up the lads as they went from 2-0 down to lead 3-2 with 15 mins left on the clock.
From then on, Matador game plan was to hold on to the slim lead. However in football, any costly errors will be duly punished. Sparta scored their equalizer from a well taken free kick and got the winner again from a defensive error from Matador.
At some points of the game, both teams got overly passionate and tempers nearly rise from both sets of players. Referee did quite well to contain the situations and let the game flow.
After all this is football.
Team Report
Great First half with both teams trying to get the goals into their opponents net. 2-1 at half time in favour of Sparta. 2nd half was quite a disaster when we conceded 2 more goals giving lead back to the opponent. Shah's goal from his freekick gave the hope and encouragement to the Spartans to keep on fight. Hilmi sealed Spartans fate at the last few mins to get the team a 3 points.
