Team Report
First of all, a great debut for Primero FC. We picked up a slow start in the game. Created a couple of mistakes in the back which lead us to concede a goal. But we kept our heads up high and keep fighting. Both of our midfielders Ariffin and Owen controlled the game tremendously in the middle of the park and made sure our forwards, Idzalie and Hairil had plenty of ball, which lead to Idzalie scoring the first goal for Primero 15 mins before the half-time. Amir the Captain Marvel was also at his best, dazzling down the left wing and provided us with a couple of good crosses. First half ended with a goal each for both teams. We kept the second half ongoing with our typical possession of the ball. Maestro FC's wingers also caused us a few trouble with their speed. Our breakthrough finally came on the 75th minute. A low cross from Amir on the right which allowed Syafiq for a simple tap in. Idzalie wrapped up the game with a cool finish in the box from a cross by Feroz on the 85th minute. Maestro got a consolation goal at the dying minute of the game from a mistake made by us just outside the penalty box. Overall, a great game played in excellent spirit by both teams. We vote Howard as Maestro FC MOM for his tireless run throughout the game. Primero FC MOM goes to our Captain, Amir for his work on the wing and dangerous crosses. We wish Maestro FC all the best for the season and till we meet again. Well as usual we will end with our closing ceremony ritual, "1 2 3 Primero!!!".
