Finally getting back to winning ways, Team Awesome put up a 5 star performance with 5 goals to show for it. Hat-trick hero Nordin, with his new pair of white boots, put in a man of the match performance and even provided an assist for the 5th goal for returning player Ejal to slot the ball home from close range.
Leading 2-0 at half time, Team Awesome kept up the goal scoring with a goal almost straight from the restart with a corner which was not cleared by the opponent's defence which winger Shamir duly thumped the ball home. From there, Team Awesome was in control of the game but a defense lapse gave their opponents a consolation goal.
However, a good game played with the right spirit of intensity and commitment, Team Awesome would like to kick on from here and get more positive results.
