Team Report

We had 11 players sharp for the game but a little bit better quality than last around against the same opponent. Giocatori had only 9 at the pitch for the whistle as another 6 players showed up very late in mid of the first half.

We used the opportunity of number advantage and started in attack creating chance after chance, finally one of the corners was quickly played by Ali to Dima who one touched to open Ramon and an stoppable shot from just outside the box followed 1-0; As Giocatori went full strength it became and even game with chances on both sides of the pitch as 1st half finished 1-0.

Second half started with Giocatori going forward in numbers even their fullbacks ended up sometimes a our goal line. We were trying counterattack and Pasha V missed numerous one on one chances. Finally we had to pay as Giocatori's prolific playmaker/all rounder/goalkeeper COSTA pushed through our left flank and crossed, somehow the ball swirled directly into goals. Reminds of a goal we let in 2 seasons ago against Sparta Cowboys. 1-1. I thought it was over for us but luckily just 2 minutes after Pasha V again dribbled half of the defence and was fouled just outside the box. Ali's free-kick was unstoppable. 2-1. At the other end Giocatori end their free-kick and a good shot by, guess who, of course COSTA, was paired by our goalkeeper into crossbar rebound was struck into goalkeeper and 2nd rebound finally put into the goal but it was called offside. We received a lifeline, minute later Pasha V again dribbled half of a defence making one of the defenders use his hand to try to stop the ball, despite an opportunity for penalty Pasha in good sports spirit continued on just to miss completely open goals. Added minutes were in and I have failed to properly clear the ball being at the half line instead trying to pass around and go one-on-one. The ball instead went quickly into the box and one of Giocatori's defender outmuscled our defender and shot, the shot was still deflected by the defender and went in disorienting our goalie. 2-2 The whistle followed almost immediately. 2-2 it ended.
