Team Report
A massive result for IBFC. We came into the game knowing that 3 points were vital and a proper game plan. The opening quarter the game was a cagey affair and IBFC felt hard done by when we were denied a stonewall penalty. Grampus were looking to play balls over the top of our defenders but we coped with it well. A weak parry out from a corner by our keeper allowed , the Grampus Rise the easiest of tap -ins for them to take the lead. HT 1-0 . IBFC came out for the 2nd half with a game plan of denying time and space and were duly rewarded when Afro pressured the Grampus player into a mistake and slotting in Azri to level the scores. 6 minutes later, Afro rose majestically above everyone else from the corner and thundered a powerful header to give us the lead. Comeback complete. Grampus did have two good chances to level the match but we held on.

A cool weather, accompanied by drizzle throughout the game, both teams started well despite some hard-juicy tackling involved and well, that's the name of the game. IBFC was dominating well with their speed and we were containing and not committing to their way with much composure which rewards us with the lead in the 1st half.

IBFC got their tempo going in the 2nd half and we are undeniably having a hard time composing ourselves down and nevertheless, few chances nearly came knocking on our door with couple of it at the mouth of goal but we lost our mark. IBFC made full use of their chances and claimed their deserved victory. It was a great game. Thanks IBFC!
