Sengkang West Inter-Zone Football League 2019/2020

The Sengkang West Inter-Zone Football League (SWIZFL) 2019/2020 season kicked-off on 3rd November 2019 with Sengkang West Knights taking on Riverbower FC at Compassvale Secondary. Co-organized by the Sengkang West Community Sports Club and the X-League, the event was graced by Dr Lam Pin Min, Senior Minister of State in the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Transport.

Two goals from Man of the Match, Nicholas Lee coupled with fine efforts by Benjamin Giam and Mauricio Sierra saw Assumption FC beat Entertainers FC in a game that can be considered the equivalent of the "El Clásico" in the X-League. The match was a tale of two halves as Assumption went into the break having scored three goals.

Wolfpack FC v Hermano FC (Post Match Interview) 6 October 2019

Sun Prem Div 1 Week 2. Two goals and a Man of the Match performance by Felix Rahim was not enough to stop Hermano from suffering their first defeat of the season when they fell 6-2 to Wolfpack FC. The win was certainly welcome by the home side following their 3-0 defeat to Assumption in their opening match.

Season 12 of the Sunday Premier League kicked-off on 29th September starting with Assumption FC taking on Wolfpack FC @ Spectra Secondary. Over at Anderson Secondary, Azlan “Yayan” Yazid went in search of his 100th league goal as Atlas FC took on newcomers, Hermano FC. This was followed by a match between season veterans, USSR Utd v Entertainers FC.
