Saturday Premier League

The Saturday Premier League is designed for teams looking for a competitive social footballing experience. Officiated by qualified and registered FAS referees* teams can look forward to a more professional in game experience.

Contested by 9 teams within a division, it operates on a promotion and relegation system with the top three teams moving up and the bottom three facing the drop to a lower division. In other words, it's action packed from start to finish.

A season generally lasts up to five months (bearing in mind postponements, holiday periods, weather restrictions and cup competitions) with teams playing 16 matches each in a customized 'Home' & 'Away' system. Teams can either choose to play in the Sunday/Saturday Premier League at the following time slots:

• 1300-1500
• 1500-1700

The X-League boasts a unique league adoption system that allows its participants to benefit from its league sponsors and affiliates. Promotions will vary from season to season but rest assured that the X-League will always work towards providing our participants a premier experience at affordable rates.

* All FAS registered referees undergo monthly physical fitness and training programmes that ensure that they are physically fit and up to date with FIFA's Laws of the Game.
