Team Report

Back to the roots and a natural turf pitch, complete with light rain. Both sides struggled in the first half to get the feel of the grass, but an exciting match ensued from minute 1. The first half saw 22 shots, with many on target. The goalkeepers were both kept very busy. AC Milan drew drew first blood, with Dzul netting on a feed from Farhan in the 13th minute. Welcome back, Dzul! But then Liverton drew even in the 27th minute. Not to be out done, Jordan notched another for Milan in the 34th minute with a low drive to the right, but Liverton immediately replied 3 minutes later, to end 2:2 at the half time whistle

The second half opened with end to end play once again, on a very slick pitch. 21 shots on goal again kept the goalkeepers very busy. The deadlock was finally broken in the 77th minute with Dannish rushing in on goal from the deep midfield to put Milan in front. And a minute later, Darwisy came up from his centerback position to run through the defense and net the final goal. 4:2

Without 5 of the first 11, due to injury, travel and birthday (?), the result was a good demonstration of the depth of the team, and that they have shaken off the jitters of playing in the X League.
