Kamikaze MMXV came into this game knowing that their resurgent opponents will be eyeing on executing a headlines-grabbing heist by bringing their A-game.

The plan for the team was simple, to bombard the final third of the pitch from the first whistle to put Football Heist on the back foot.

It worked to a tee. Within 10 minutes, MMXV were 2-0 up. First, Harvin set Irshard up who obliged with a sweet strike. Then Harvin, got himself onto the scoresheet with a neat finish, thanks to a quick throw from Sivaraj.

To their credit, Football Heist kept going and got just rewards as they pulled a goal back. But Kaviraj stepped up with a crisp penalty kick after he had been fouled inside the box.

The second half didn’t see any goals but there was enough on display to give both teams enough confidence as they look ahead to a full-packed November schedule.

MMXV, especially, know that with a healthy lead in the leaderboard, a productive November will give them a huge advantage in the title race.
