Lionheart makes a return to the XL Division 4 after securing Singa-sports Academy as their primary sponsor and Paw Gear, a local sportswear startup, as their kit sponsor.
However the occasion got the better of them as they fell apart in the first half, conceding 4 easy goals and getting 2 unnecessary yellow cards.
It was a wake up call that was badly needed after drawing with Socceritez FC 2-2, former XL Saturday League champions, and defeating Exclusinga FC 4-1, in pre-season.
After the hair dryer treatment from Coach Yan, and the coach slotting in for Captain Omar who was playing with a fever, at the heart of defence, the Lions managed to hold the POSmen in the 2nd half and were unlucky not to get a few goals.
After learning early on that all the new opponents should be treated with caution, the only way from here is up as the Lions chart victory for their next game against Star FC on 22nd June.
