Team Report
Northern started out the game with attacking and possessing in the first 30 min but an error made opponent scored the 1st goal till half time. We fought aggressively in 2nd half and Northern Warriors 1st choice goalkeeper Fazzul Ismail aka Mok our Man Of The Match forced to substitute with no experience goalkeeper in the last 15 mins duw to head injury. Overall both team played well and we are hoping to meet again in a return league.

The first match of the latest segment of the Division 4 X league kicks of with Northern warrior with the new entry for this year, Valkyrie.
What was expected to be an tense and open match between the two opponents turned into a rather one side match, with Valkyrie coming out on top with a convincing 1 - 4 win.
1st Half ( Pradeep )
Both teams were guilty of missing chances. NW were wasteful so was Valkyrie with both team fashioning chances but not for the heroics of the goalies and the goal frame.
Goals from Pradeep put Valkyrie in the pole position to secure the win.
Pradeep receives a through ball from Jia Wei and cut through the keeper to put Valkyrie one up.
The game went on with both teams creating chances without being able to finish. The first half ended with Pradeep being yellow carded for going in too strong challenging with the NW goalie!
Halftime : 0 - 1
2nd Half (Dalton, Jia Wei x 2 )
Then came the second goal in the form of dalton who picked up the loose ball from a punt by Vanna to make it 0 - 2.
NW pull one back toward the beginning of the 2nd half with a well taken poachers goals, with was from a melee in the Valkyrie penalty box with the NW striker pouncing on a loose punch from Ocean to react the fastest and score.
This goal my the opponent caused the team to lose focus and Jia Wei rallied the team forward.
But that was all they were gonna get as Jia Wei extended the lead further. Mistake my the NW keeper when he miss kicked a clearance straight Jia Wei who controlled and drove a shot in the left hand corner of the post from outside the penalty box.
The three points with firmly sealed when Jia Wei received a well timed through ball from Darren and beat the last man to make it 1 - 4 for the "away" team.
It was a good and well fought match by both teams, with both teams looking towards their next match in a weeks times.
