Team Report
It was a hot Sunday, and rain has spared that day Tampines as well. Due to difficult conditions we decided to ignore the fact of linesmen presence and play with a deep defensive line inviting opponent to take ball possession and wear themselves out under scorching sun. Entertainers controlled the ball most of the match and used multi-passing attacks to break our lines. Several times they were successful to do so but our goalkeeper was always there to clear in the end. On the other side of the pitch, we struggled to hit on counters too as Entertainers were using high offside line and would catch our attackers all the time. Luckily, we had Bugra to do his magic again; left for a second alone several meters from penalty box and an unstoppable shot followed into top right corner, no chance for their goallie. Second half followed in similar manner. Finally, towards the end of the game, we were able to hit opponents on the break as Dima P ran away on the left flank, saw goallie move out of goals and lobbed him with a nice left-footed cross - excellent vision and decision making almost like Charlie Adam in his famous goal from own half to 3-meter tall Courtois. 2-0 a solid result against a strong team. Our MoM to Dima P for beautiful goal, and an opponent MoM to V.Briane for tireless work in the middle.
