Team Report

Having beat them 8-4 in the first game, we always knew that the second game will never be as easy. True enough, Chestercity came at us from the first whistle with all guns blazing. Trying to take full advantage of us starting with 8 players with full on attacking play but somehow could not break the deadlock. As we finally got 11 players on the pitch midway through the first half and were reorganizing ourselves, their striker put the defence on a trance and danced his way to goal with a well placed shot.

In the second half we managed to put on a better fight with attacking play of our own but somehow could not find our way to goal. The best chance falling to defender, Yassin who was on the attack through a set play but had to see the ball roll across the goal but failing to find the back of the net. Chestercity failed to get another goal to kill the game and we kept on trying to get an equaliser to no avail.

A very good game played with real spirit and grit and Team Awesome would like to wish Chestercity all the best in their pursuit of the league title.
