This is one of our favorite pitches. We managed to get 14 players for the game, with one injured who still lasted 20 minutes. The sun didn't spare us, and despite all morning rain it was scorching hot from 3pm to 5pm.
We started well and quickly scored first goal, Kosta's throw-in, Samir's flick and Ramon's one-time shot all looked very easy. FazyWazy, however, quickly replied with their own. No. 8 has easily ran away from 2 of our badly positioned defenders. Keeper didn't do a miracle and 1-1. Soon after with USSR in control of the game FazyWazy through an innocent defensive clearance caught our other side of defense wandering forward. Keeper went out and was easily dribbled - empty net was the verdict; 1-2. Ramon has quickly replied with his own piece of football magic dribbling around 4 or 5 opponents and sending an unstoppable goal-bound shot. USSR had a number of chances to take a lead and yet again our defenders were caught napping. A long ball went to No.8 who took control of it, went towards the center was tackled by midfielder Dima K bouncing the ball into defender Sergei bouncing back into Dima and on for one-on-one back to No.8. Dima has chased him but only to take him out not touching the ball this time around. A clear penalty. Again no luck for keeper and 2-3 first half ended. We have rearranged our defense for the second half dropping Kosta into central defense to take care of No.8. This part worked and for the next 35 mins FazyWazy didn't create a single meaningful chance. On the other hand, USSR failed to score too due to solid keeping and determined defending by FazyWazy. 2-3 it ended.
