FC Rovers a.k.a Wolves . .
Founded in the 1960s, Blue Rovers was formed by a group of footballers who are keen in playing football professionally. As the team disbanded in the 70s where Singapore soccer was a major highlight in the Malaysia Cup event, one of the team member, the late Agus Salim who was also the uncle of the current chairman, Faizal, decided to carry on the dream of not just organising football matches but to develop potential youth as well. The opportunity came in the 1990s when the team was reformed as Junior Rovers.The team was mainly made up of players that was staying in the Western part of the island. Managed by Agus Salim, the team went on to play against the likes of Indra Shadan in the once famous 7-a-side Topper Cup tournament that was held in Sentosa. With the passing on of Agus Salim in 1996, Faizal decided to carry on the tradition of youth develpoment and now with the inclusion of 4th generation players, FC Rovers is formed. The team is now currently playing in the ESPZEN League.
