Sunday Premier League Season 16 Division 3

  • Week 32: Beepelona Crowned Champions as Season 16 Draws to a Close

Week 32 of the Sunday Premier League Division 3 brought down the curtain on Season 16 with just one league fixture played, though two were scheduled. Four of the nine teams in the division were involved, but all the attention centred on Beepelona FC as they looked to cap off a title-winning campaign in style.

The scheduled 11am clash between Sedap FC and Bedok Reservoir Punggol CSN failed to kick off after only one team showed up. With two X-League staff in attendance, Sedap FC arrived in full strength while Bedok Reservoir Punggol CSN were a no-show. In accordance with X-League Rules and Regulations, the match was awarded 3–0 to Sedap FC. Bedok Reservoir Punggol CSN were handed a severe warning and fine as a result.

But the story of the day unfolded at Woodlands Secondary where the celebrations were in full swing. Beepelona FC had already secured the Division 3 title going into their final match against FC Vastatores, but they came out all guns blazing regardless. Goals from Khairul Rahmat and Nicholas Tan gave the champions a 2–0 lead early on. The score stood at 2–1 at the interval after Is Hazwan, also known as Awan, pulled one back for Vastatores.

The second half saw more fireworks. Hasniel Ahmad restored Beepelona’s two-goal cushion, but Awan was far from done. The Man of the Match and eventual hat-trick hero scored twice more to complete an incredible comeback for FC Vastatores, sealing a dramatic 3–3 draw.

    SEASON WRAP-UP
Beepelona FC finish the campaign with 11 wins, 2 draws and 3 losses to claim the title. Ulsan Boyz finish second with 32 points, while Class FC round out the top three with 30 points.

Khairul Rahmat from Beepelona FC wins the Top Scorer Award with 20 goals. Sedap FC are recognised with the Team Fair Play Award after collecting just 3 disciplinary points all season. The League MVP Award goes to Rafi Roslee, who edged out Assumption Utd’s Gabir Nabil by just one point.

  • Week 31: Farewell Performance from Assumption Utd as Triple X Finish Strong

Week 31 of the X-League Sunday Premier League Division 3 marked a poignant moment in the season. With just two of the nine teams in action, all eyes turned to Clementi Town Secondary as league veterans Assumption Utd played their final game in the X-League after nine memorable seasons. The club has decided to hang up their boots and move on to more relaxed pastures, bringing an end to a journey filled with highs, lows and unforgettable moments.

Their final clash came against a resurgent Triple X side, fresh off a thrilling 3–3 draw with Sedap FC. The match proved to be a tale of two halves. In the opening minutes, Triple X wasted no time asserting themselves. Nova Paulase opened the scoring before Delon Lee doubled the advantage with another quickfire finish. Assumption Utd responded with a vintage moment from Nicholas Lee, better known as Drunken Wolf, who found the net with a strike that brought back memories of his prime. His goal gave Assumption hope heading into the break.

However, the second half belonged entirely to Triple X. They added two more goals to their tally, sealing a well-earned 4–2 victory and sending Assumption off with a spirited contest. Despite the loss, the moment was about more than the result. Managing Director of the X-League, Navin Nambiar, was present to personally thank Assumption Utd for their unwavering support and commitment over the years.

The club’s legacy includes several standout players, most notably the prolific Gabir Nabil, also known as Nader, who has clinched both the league MVP and Top Scorer awards multiple times. The X-League community bids farewell to a true mainstay of the competition and wishes Assumption Utd the very best in their future endeavours.

  • Week 30: Sedap's Fightback Falls Just Short in Promotion Race

Only one match was played in Week 30 of the X-League Sunday Premier League Division 3, but it came packed with high stakes and late drama. With just two games remaining in their campaign, Sedap FC knew that anything short of maximum points against Triple X would all but end their promotion hopes. Fourth in the table and four points ahead of their sixth-placed opponents, Sedap were eyeing a third-place finish and a ticket to Division 2.

The setting was Woodlands Secondary School, and the visitors were in no mood to roll over. Triple X stunned the home side by racing to a 2–0 lead, with Wei Yang netting twice in quick succession. His clinical finishing silenced the home crowd and gave Triple X a solid advantage going into the break.

Sean Dias offered Sedap a glimmer of hope with a quick goal after the restart, but their momentum was disrupted when Darell Ho restored Triple X's two-goal cushion. At 3–1 down with 20 minutes left, Sedap were staring down the barrel. But they dug deep. Dias stepped up again to complete his brace, before Saravanan Javahar pounced late to level things up in the dying minutes. The comeback was spirited, full of heart and determination, but ultimately not enough.

The 3–3 draw means that even a commanding win in their final fixture against Bedok Reservoir Punggol will not be enough to leapfrog Class FC, who currently sit in third place. Sedap can only finish with 29 points, one short of the mark needed for promotion.

A valiant effort from Sedap FC, but it looks like Division 3 will be their hunting ground for at least one more season.

  • Week 29: Sedap Stun Champions as Division 3 Season Nears Conclusion

Week 29 of the Sunday Premier League Division 3 saw six out of the nine teams in action as the season heads towards its final stretch. Though Beepelona FC had already secured the league title prior to kick-off, there was still plenty of drama, pride and points to play for across three pulsating fixtures.

In the headline clash of the weekend, Sedap FC threw a spanner in the works by handing newly crowned champions Beepelona FC a 3–1 defeat at Jurong West Secondary. Goals from Sanjaykumar Thevar and captain Ryan Emmanuel Pereira helped Sedap seal a statement win, with the latter named Man of the Match for his commanding display. Beepelona’s Rafi Roslee did find the net, but his goal served as a mere consolation. The victory sees Sedap climb to fourth in the standings, continuing their late-season surge.

Over at Clementi Town Secondary, Assumption United continued their own impressive run by notching a fourth win of the campaign, sweeping aside Bedok Reservoir Punggol 4–1. Legendary X-League striker Gabir Nabil, better known as Nader, rolled back the years with a brace. He was joined on the scoresheet by Benjamin Giam and Jia Hao. The three points move Assumption to 13 in the league standings, and they still have one final fixture left to play against Triple X.

The final game of the round saw Triple X and Maoists FC battle to a thrilling 1–1 draw. Kerwin Cheng gave Triple X the early advantage, sending them into the break with a one-goal lead. Maoists FC, however, rallied in the second half and clawed their way back with an equaliser. The result concludes a mixed campaign for Maoists FC. They recorded 7 wins, 3 draws and 6 losses. It was a campaign that started brightly but ultimately fell short of its early promise.

  • Week 28: Triple X Stun Maoists as Assumption and Sedap Climb the Table

Three matches were played this week in Division 3 of the Sunday Premier League, with six out of the nine teams in action in what proved to be a significant round of fixtures.

In our first game, Triple X extended their winning streak to three matches with a shock 2-0 win over Maoists FC. Goals from Man of the Match Kerwin Cheng in the first half and Marcellinus Jerricho in the second were enough to secure all three points. Shoutout to Louis Loo from Maoists FC for his outstanding performance despite the defeat.

Our second game saw Assumption United pick up their third win of the season with a narrow 2-1 victory over FC Vastatores at Fuhua Secondary. This was despite Ryan Sufiyan giving Vastatores an early lead. Billy Lee responded in style with two goals to send Assumption into the break with a one-goal advantage. The second half was hard-fought, but the scoreline remained unchanged as Assumption held on for the win.

The third game of the day witnessed Sedap FC overpower Bedok Reservoir Punggol CSN 4-2 at Regent Secondary. Two goals apiece from Saravanan Javahar and Sean Dias powered Sedap to victory. The win sees them close the gap on Maoists FC, who fell to defeat earlier in the day. The gap between the two sides now stands at just one point in the standings, which sets up a thrilling end to the season.

  • Week 27: Beepelona Hit the Summit as Sedap Storm into Fifth

Week 27 of Division 3 in the Sunday Premier League featured just two fixtures, but both had a big impact on the league table. Four out of the nine teams were in action this week, and the title race took a dramatic twist.

Beepelona FC knew that a win would see them finally dislodge Ulsan Boyz from the top of the standings. They delivered exactly that with a composed 2-0 victory over Maoists FC at Jurong West Secondary. Nicholas Tan gave Beepelona the early breakthrough before Rafi Roslee wrapped up the points late in the game. The result sees Beepelona rise to the top of the league for the first time this season, ending Ulsan Boyz’s 17-week reign at the summit. With momentum on their side and the title now within reach, Beepelona look ready to go the distance.

In the other clash of the day, Sedap FC turned on the style to beat Assumption United 4-1 in a commanding performance. Saravanan Javahar, Sanjaykumar Thevar and Gerald Kingsley all got on the scoresheet, but it was team captain Ryan Emmanuel Pereira who stole the show. Leading from the front and capping his display with a goal, Ryan was deservedly named Man of the Match. The three points lift Sedap to fifth in the standings, showing just how tight the midfield battle remains.

With only a few weeks left to play, the title race is heating up, and every point now carries weight. Beepelona have struck at the perfect time, but Ulsan Boyz and the chasing pack will be eager to respond.

  • Week 26: Class FC Title Dreams Crushed by Bottom Side in Final Day Collapse

Week 26 of the X-League Division 3 brought heartbreak for Class FC and fresh hope for Maoists FC in a weekend that turned the top three race on its head. Four of the nine sides were in action, with everything still to play for heading into the final stretch.

All eyes were on Class FC, who knew that a win would send them to the top of the table and seal an unforgettable end to their season. Facing a Bedok Reservoir Punggol CSN side on a six match losing streak, the odds looked firmly in their favour. But football is rarely predictable.

Goalless at half time, the second half exploded into life. Class struck first through their in-form talisman Kaung Khant Minn, who once again delivered with a brilliant finish in the 46th minute. But the joy was short-lived. Mohamed Sufi drew Bedok Reservoir level in the 66th minute before the visitors stunned the promotion hopefuls with a late winner ten minutes from time. Class FC will be left kicking themselves after missing a host of chances and now end the season with 9 wins, 3 draws and 4 defeats — two of those losses coming in the final two matchweeks.

Over at the second fixture, Maoists FC edged out Assumption United in a thrilling 5-4 contest that could have gone either way. Johnson Toh, Muhammad Rafiq, Leroy Liu and Jacob Chan all got on the scoresheet for Maoists, but it was Gabir Nabil, also known as Nader, who earned Man of the Match honours with a superb individual display for Assumption United, which included a well taken goal.

The win keeps Maoists in the hunt for third place. They now trail Class FC by 7 points but crucially have three games in hand. Win all three, and the bronze medal spot will be theirs.

  • Week 25: Triple X Spoil the Party as Class FC Title Hopes Collapse in 9 Goal Thriller

Week 25 of the X-League Division 3 served up drama of the highest order as four of the nine teams battled it out with the title race, top three spots and end-of-season bragging rights all still on the line.

The marquee clash saw Class FC take on fifth placed Triple X, with everything to play for. Victory would have propelled Class FC to the summit of the league standings for the first time this season, but instead, they were dealt a gut-wrenching blow in a frenetic 5-4 defeat.

It was a pulsating contest, headlined by two players at the peak of their powers. Kaung Khant Minn netted a superb hat-trick for Class FC, but it was matched stride for stride by Triple X’s Kerwin Cheng, who bagged three goals of his own in a Man of the Match performance. The result ensures Ulsan Boyz stay top of the table, while Class FC’s title dreams are all but dashed. They remain third for now, though their final position could still shift based on the closing fixtures.

Over at Fuhua Secondary, Maoists FC had a golden opportunity to close the gap on third place but fell flat against a spirited Sedap FC side. The match ended 3-0 in favour of Sedap, with Saravanan Javahar grabbing a brace and Kun Ashraf adding the third. The win takes Sedap up to 16 points and puts them in a strong position to finish the season on a high.

Beyond the goals, Sedap FC have quietly made a name for themselves with their sportsmanship, boasting the best disciplinary record in the division with just two yellow cards all season. They now stand as frontrunners for the Team Fair Play Award.

With the final stretch approaching, Division 3 continues to deliver late season twists and high stakes football.

  • Week 24: Class FC Keep Title Charge Alive as Beepelona Leave It Late

Week 24 of the X-League Division 3 dished out more twists in the title race as four of the nine teams took to the pitch. Both Class FC and Beepelona FC secured crucial victories to keep the heat on leaders Ulsan Boyz, while Maoists FC saw their winning run come to an end.

At Clementi Town Secondary, it was a battle between third placed Class FC and a resurgent Maoists FC side sitting just below them in fourth. Class knew that a win would move them within two points of top spot, and they delivered when it mattered. Shapulatov Umidjon opened the scoring in the 12th minute, only for Muhammad Rafiq to level things up six minutes later.

But just before the break, Musafar Ali restored the visitors' lead with a composed finish. Maoists pushed hard in the second half, but Gabriel Ong struck in the 68th minute to make it 3-1 and seal the deal for Class FC. Despite their best efforts, Maoists couldn’t find a way back, bringing their two match win streak to a halt.

Over in the second fixture, Beepelona FC made it six wins on the bounce, but they had to dig deep to edge past a spirited Bedok Reservoir Punggol CSN side. Muhammad Fathullah gave Beepelona the lead in the 28th minute, but the away side struck back through Abdul Hafiq early in the second half.

With the match seemingly headed for a draw, up stepped Mikhail Shariff to score the winner in dramatic fashion, finding the net seconds before the final whistle. A special mention goes to Tamang Suman from Bedok Reservoir, who was outstanding throughout and earned Man of the Match honours.

As the season winds down, the battle for promotion is shaping up to go right down to the wire.

  • Week 23: Beepelona Climb to Second as Maoists and Triple X Deliver the Goods

Week 23 of the X-League Division 3 saw six of the nine teams in action across three fiery fixtures, and it was a weekend packed with goals, drama and movement in the league standings.

Fresh from their 6-1 demolition job last week, Beepelona FC were brimming with confidence heading into their clash with a wounded Assumption United side. The timing could not have been worse for Assumption, who had just been taken apart 5-1 by Ulsan Boyz. The match, played at a separate venue, saw Beepelona turn on the style yet again, running out 5-1 winners thanks to a spread of goals from Rudy Sukarno, Mikhail Shariff, Hafiz Roslee, Muhammad Ijtihad and Khairul Rahmat. The win lifts Beepelona into second place and puts them firmly in the hunt for the title.

Over at Fuhua Secondary, Triple X delivered their own statement of intent with a commanding 4-1 victory over Bedok Reservoir Punggol CSN. Marcellinus Jerricho stole the spotlight with a sensational four-goal haul, earning Man of the Match honours and powering Triple X up to fifth in the standings. Fuad Safri netted a consolation goal for the visitors, but it did little to dent Triple X’s dominant display.

The final match of the week, also played at Fuhua Secondary, saw Maoists FC edge past FC Vastatores in a thrilling 3-2 encounter. Muhammad Rafiq opened the scoring early before Muhammad Haikal Azri hit back quickly to make it 1-1 at the break. Goals from Halim Hamid and Jonathan Goh gave Maoists a two-goal cushion, only for league veteran Ryan Sufiyan to halve the deficit and set up a tense finale. But the Maoists held firm to walk away with all three points.

With just a few rounds left, the pressure is ramping up across the table as teams jostle for position in an increasingly tight title race.

  • Week 22: Ulsan Boyz Serve Up Revenge as Beepelona Run Riot

Week 22 of the X-League Division 3 delivered goals galore as four of the nine teams took to the pitch, with Ulsan Boyz and Beepelona FC both producing statement wins in their respective fixtures.

Ulsan Boyz had revenge on their minds as they faced Assumption United in a highly anticipated rematch. Having been stunned 5-0 in the reverse fixture back in April, the league leaders were determined to set the record straight. It was 1-1 at the break, but the second half saw Ulsan explode into life, scoring four unanswered goals to seal a thumping 5-1 victory on home soil.

Ahmad Fareez put in a commanding performance in midfield to earn Man of the Match honours, while Mohamed Farhaan Khan and Aidil Shazwan joined him on the scoresheet in a convincing team display. The result not only avenged their earlier defeat but also further cemented Ulsan's position at the summit of the standings.

Over at Clementi Town Secondary, Beepelona FC tore through Bedok Reservoir Punggol CSN with ruthless efficiency. Rafi Roslee bagged a clinical hat-trick, Khairul Rahmat netted twice, and Danial Rahzali added one more to put the visitors 6-0 up by the 56th minute. Fairuz Ezra pulled one back for Bedok Reservoir in the 69th minute, but it was scant consolation as Beepelona cruised to a 6-1 win.

The emphatic victory sees Beepelona close the gap to just two points behind second placed Class FC, keeping the chase for a top-two finish very much alive.

With only a few matchdays remaining, the business end of the season is shaping up to be an all-out scrap for silverware, bragging rights and redemption.

  • Week 21: Maoists FC Shake Up the Title Race with Stunning Second Half Blitz

Only one fixture lit up Week 21 of the X-League Division 3 calendar, but it proved to be an absolute cracker. League leaders Ulsan Boyz were handed a reality check by fourth placed Maoists FC, who produced a thrilling 4-2 victory to tighten the race at the top.

With just two of the division’s nine teams in action this week, all eyes were on this marquee clash and it didn’t disappoint.

Maoists FC came flying out of the traps, taking the lead in the 8th minute through Muhammad Rafiq. Ulsan responded through their talisman Zaheer Zaini, who struck in the 19th minute to level proceedings. The see-saw battle continued as Taufiq Ismail restored the Maoists' lead in the 27th, only for Zaini to bag his brace with a fine finish before the break.

It was all square at half time, but the balance of play shifted dramatically after the interval.

Maoists came out with renewed intent and were rewarded when Johnson Toh made it 3-2 in the 52nd minute. Just ten minutes later, Taufiq Ismail slammed home his second of the match, capping off a dominant second half showing by the visitors.

While the scoreboard rightly belongs to the Maoists’ attack, plaudits must also go to Muhammad Yunos, who was a rock in midfield and pivotal in controlling the tempo. On the other side, Ulsan’s Ahmad Danish put in a tireless shift and was one of the few bright sparks in a disappointing half for the league leaders.

The result sees Maoists FC breathe down the necks of the top three, throwing the title race wide open with just a handful of games left.

With the season edging closer to its climax, Division 3 is serving up drama aplenty and there is surely more to come.

  • Week 20: Assumption Stun League Leaders as Title Race Heats Up

Week 20 of Season 16 in Division 3 of the Sunday Premier League saw fireworks as six teams returned to action after the Hari Raya break. With the season heading into its final stretch, every point is vital, and this week produced a major twist in the title race.

The headline result came from Ulsan Boyz's clash with Assumption United. The league leaders had dominated the table for 11 consecutive weeks but were left shell-shocked by a sensational performance from Assumption's talisman, Gabir Nabil. The reigning X-League Top Scorer and Most Valuable Player showed exactly why he holds those accolades, netting four goals in a masterclass display. An own goal by Ulsan compounded their misery, with the final whistle confirming a stunning 5-0 win for Assumption. Whether it was a case of rust or complacency, Ulsan now find themselves under pressure from a chasing Class FC side.

The second match of the week featured a high-stakes showdown between third-placed Beepelona FC and fourth-placed Maoists FC. The match was not short on drama, with one red card and six yellows issued in a fiery contest. Maoists FC looked to be in control, going 2-0 up by half-time thanks to goals from Taufiq Ismail and Yan Zhi. However, Beepelona roared back in the second half. A hat-trick from Man of the Match Khairul Rahmat, a strike from Rafi Roslee, and a Maoists own goal sealed a remarkable 5-2 comeback victory that could prove pivotal in the race for promotion.

In the final game of the week, Sedap FC edged past FC Vastatores 3-2 in a match of two halves. Sedap stormed into a 3-0 lead before the break through goals from Sanjaykumar Thevar, Saravanan Javahar and Kun Ashraf. Vastatores responded with second-half goals from Ryan Sufiyan and Vaughn Cheong, but the comeback fell just short as Sedap held on to claim all three points.

  • Week 19: Class FC Close the Gap as Division 3 Resumes with a Bang

Week 19 of Division 3 action in the Sunday Premier League kicked off with a full slate of fixtures as six teams returned to action following the Hari Raya break. The race for promotion has never been tighter, and this week’s matches delivered plenty of goals and drama.

In the opening match of the round, second-placed Class FC locked horns with Assumption United in their second meeting of the season. Their first encounter ended in a thrilling 4-3 win for Class FC, sealed in the dying moments. This time, Class were far more clinical. A dominant first half saw the hosts storm to a 3-0 lead through a Shapulatov Umidjon brace and a neat finish by Wee Jian Yang. Gabir Nabil, also known as Nader, gave Assumption a glimmer of hope with a goal early in the second half. However, Daniel Hanif quickly extinguished the comeback with a rapid-fire double in the 44th and 53rd minutes. Nino Tan managed to add a second for Assumption, but it was nothing more than a consolation as Class ran out 5-2 winners. The result brings them within just two points of league leaders Ulsan Boyz.

In our second match of the week, FC Vastatores turned on the style with a commanding 6-2 victory over Bedok Reservoir Punggol CSN. Man of the Match Ryan Sufiyan bagged a well-deserved hat-trick, while Effendi Elias, Azhar Nurafiq and Benjamin Ng also etched their names on the scoresheet. Bedok Reservoir replied with goals from Mohammad Rayhan and Syuaib Safri, but the damage had already been done. The three points lift FC Vastatores to 8 points in the standings.

In the final fixture, Beepelona FC continued their strong push for promotion with a 3-1 win over Triple X. Rafi Roslee was the standout, scoring twice — including the go-ahead goal just after Triple X had equalised. Khairul Rahmat then wrapped things up with a sharp finish in the 69th minute. The victory solidifies Beepelona’s place in the top three.

  • Week 18: Late Drama at Clementi as Class FC Edge Assumption Utd in Seven-Goal Thriller

Week 18 of Division 3 action in the Sunday Premier League served up a pulsating clash between second-placed Class FC and 8th-placed Assumption United, with the rest of the league enjoying a break for the Muslim fasting month and Hari Raya festivities.

With league leaders Ulsan Boyz not in action, Class FC had a golden opportunity to close the gap at the top. But it was far from a straightforward task as they were pushed to the very limit by a spirited Assumption side.

The opening exchanges were lively, and it did not take long for Class FC to find their rhythm. Musafar Ali struck the opener in the 14th minute, but Assumption hit back in the 37th when Benjamin Giam levelled the scores. Class FC responded almost instantly as Muhammad Shafiq restored their lead just a minute later, giving the away side a slender 2-1 advantage heading into the break.

The second half picked up right where the first left off, with end-to-end action and no shortage of drama. Legendary X-League striker Gabir Nabil, fondly known as Nader, once again delivered for Assumption, equalising in the 57th minute with a trademark finish. But just as Assumption found a foothold, Shapulatov Umidjon nudged Class FC back in front.

It looked like the spoils would be shared when Andy Yang struck for Assumption a minute from time to make it 3-3. However, in the final seconds, Lutfi Bhari produced a moment of magic to net the winner for Class FC, sending their bench into raptures and breaking Assumption hearts.

The result sees Class FC move up to 24 points, five behind table-toppers Ulsan Boyz. With matches in hand and momentum on their side, the title race is still very much alive.

  • Week 17: Class FC Edge Triple X to Keep Title Race Alive

Week 17 of Division 3 in the Sunday Premier League saw just one fixture, but it was a high-stakes affair as second-placed Class FC took on Triple X FC at Clementi Town Secondary. With league leaders Ulsan Boyz opting for a Ramadan break, Class FC had the perfect opportunity to close the gap at the top, while Triple X were aiming to build on their 3-3 draw against Assumption Utd the previous week.

Class FC got off to a flying start, with Man of the Match Musafar Ali opening the scoring in the 9th minute. However, Triple X responded in style, turning the game on its head with goals from Wei Yang in the 25th minute and Kelvin Xu in the 51st, giving them a 2-1 lead.

Despite being behind, Class FC showed their title credentials with a strong second-half response. Musafar Ali struck again in the 67th minute to level the score before Shapulatov Umidjon put them ahead just four minutes later. Lutfi Bhari then sealed the victory with a composed finish two minutes from time, securing a vital 4-2 win.

For Triple X, the match was a case of missed opportunities as they held the lead but failed to see the game out. Meanwhile, for Class FC, the win moves them within eight points of Ulsan Boyz with two games in hand, keeping their title hopes very much alive. • Week 16: Thriller Ends in Stalemate as Triple X and Assumption Utd Share the Spoils

Week 16 of Division 3 in the Sunday Premier League featured just one match, but it delivered plenty of drama as Triple X FC and Assumption Utd played out a thrilling 3-3 draw.

Triple X, sitting fifth in the standings, were desperate to halt a two-match losing streak, while Assumption Utd, league veterans since Season 8, were looking to build on their 3-0 victory over Bedok Reservoir Punggol CSN back in Week 9.

The match began with a bang as legendary forward and multiple-time X-League Top Scorer Gabir Nabil, better known as Nader, put Assumption ahead in the 16th minute. However, their lead lasted just two minutes before Han Yuan Koh struck back for Triple X, setting the tone for an end-to-end contest. The teams remained level at 1-1 going into the break.

Assumption Utd reclaimed the advantage in the 55th minute through Nino Tan, only for Triple X to respond immediately once again, with Marcellinus Jerricho making it 2-2 just a minute later. The momentum swung in Triple X’s favour in the 62nd minute when Poh Chong Heng, also known as Oki, found the net with a clinical finish. But once again, the lead was short-lived. Assumption’s talisman, Nader, struck back just a minute later to make it 3-3, highlighting the relentless nature of the contest.

Despite both sides pushing for a late winner, the scoreline remained unchanged, as the teams settled for a hard-fought point each. The immediate responses to each goal made this match a spectacle, showcasing the fighting spirit of both sides.

Week 15 of Division 3 in the Sunday Premier League saw two matches played, with league leaders Ulsan Boyz continuing their remarkable winning streak against Bedok Reservoir Punggol CSN, while Beepelona FC secured a crucial victory over Triple X FC.

Ulsan Boyz entered the weekend on a six-match winning streak, proving their dominance at the top of the table. • Week 13: Hard-Fought Victories as Division 3 Heats Up

Week 13 of Division 3 of the Sunday Premier League was defined by narrow victories, as all three matches were decided by a single goal. With tensions running high, the round featured dramatic comebacks, late winners, and a flurry of red cards.

In the first game of the week, Sedap FC returned to winning ways with a hard-fought 2-1 victory over Beepelona FC at Fuhua Secondary. Beepelona took the lead in the 21st minute through Khairul Rahmat, but their advantage was short-lived as Ryan Emmanuel Pereira equalized for Sedap just eight minutes later. The game remained evenly poised until the 61st minute when Sean Dias found the net to put Sedap ahead. The real drama unfolded in the final 10 minutes as Beepelona FC were reduced to eight men, with three of their players receiving second yellow cards and subsequent dismissals. Despite their numerical disadvantage, Beepelona fought until the final whistle, but the scoreline remained unchanged as Sedap held on for the win.

  • Week 7: Triple X Triumph as Ulsan Boyz Held in Stalemate

Week 7 of Division 3 in the X-League featured two exciting encounters, with four teams battling for crucial points in the Sunday Premier League.

Triple X made it two wins for the season with an emphatic 4-2 victory over FC Vastatores. The visitors came out of the blocks flying, racing to a 2-0 lead within the first 10 minutes thanks to goals from Heng How Meng and Seah Wei Lit. Vastatores responded in the 23rd minute through Shafiudin Yusof, but Triple X quickly reasserted their dominance, as Delon Lee and Kerwin Cheng extended the lead to 4-1. Benjamin Ng struck three minutes before half-time to give Vastatores hope, but with all six goals coming in the first half, neither side found the net again after the restart. Triple X saw out the game comfortably to collect all three points.

In the second fixture of the week, Ulsan Boyz were looking to draw level with Maoists FC at the top of the table but were held to a 2-2 draw by a determined Class FC. Shapulatov Umidjon put Class ahead in the 35th minute, but Ulsan responded just after the break through Azhar Daud in the 49th minute. The joy was short-lived, as Lutfi Bhari restored Class FC’s lead just a minute later in a frantic spell of play. Ulsan refused to back down, and Hairul Huzaimi netted the equalizer in the 69th minute. Both teams pushed hard for a winner, but the match ended honours even, leaving Ulsan just shy of the summit.

With every point proving vital in the race for promotion, the battle in Division 3 remains fiercely competitive.

  • Week 6: Sedap FC Serve Up a Feast

Week 6 of Division 3 in the X-League delivered an exciting menu of football action, with six teams battling it out in a weekend of high-scoring encounters.

Sedap FC finally got their first taste of victory this season with a mouth-watering 6-0 thrashing of Assumption Utd at Clementi Town Secondary. Sean Dias was simply unplayable, helping himself to four goals in a Man of the Match performance, while Ryan Emmanuel Pereira added a brace to complete the feast. After three consecutive draws, Sedap FC have now served up their first three points, and in some style.

In the second game of the week, Bedok Reservoir Punggol CSN staged a remarkable comeback to claim a thrilling 5-3 win over FC Vastatores. Vastatores looked in control early on, racing to a 2-0 lead courtesy of goals from Is Hazwan and Ryan Sufiyan. However, the hosts hit back with three quick-fire goals through Amsyar Abdullah and Fairuz Ezra to turn the game on its head. Amsyar then completed his hat-trick in the second half, while Mohamed Sufi added a fifth in the 68th minute to seal Bedok Reservoir Punggol’s first victory of the campaign.

Meanwhile, Ulsan Boyz suffered their second defeat of the season in a seven-goal thriller against Beepelona FC. Ahmad Fareez pulled one back early in the second half, but by the 62nd minute, Beepelona had stormed to a commanding 4-1 lead through Khairul Rahmat (2), Mikhail Shariff, and Rafi Roslee. Ulsan mounted a late fightback, with Muhammad Tarmizi and Ahmad Fareez adding further goals to reduce the deficit, but it proved too little, too late.

With teams now finding their rhythm, the Division 3 title race is shaping up to be a fiery contest.

  • Week 5: Maoists Edge Ulsan Boyz in a Battle of the Giants

Week 5 of the Sunday Premier League Division 3 delivered pulsating football action, with all three matches providing edge-of-the-seat drama. The highlight of the week was undoubtedly the top-of-the-table clash between Maoists FC and Ulsan Boyz, both of whom entered the fixture undefeated.

The match lived up to its billing, as Maoists FC eked out a thrilling 4-3 victory to cement their place at the top. Jay Lee gave the league leaders an early advantage in the 12th minute, but Ulsan roared back with a brace from Man of the Match, Muhammad Tarmizi Bin Suhaimi. Just after the interval, Muhammad Rafiq leveled for Maoists, but Nasr Ryman Qull Bin Malik restored Ulsan's lead in the 47th minute. The game continued to twist and turn, with Baxter Tan equalizing for Maoists in the 58th minute before Yan Zhi scored the decisive goal six minutes from time. Ulsan dropped points for the first time this season, but their fighting spirit will surely keep them in the title conversation.

In another seven-goal thriller, FC Vastatores celebrated their maiden win of the season with a 4-3 triumph over Assumption Utd at Clementi Town Secondary. A double from Ridzwan Azali, affectionately known as Iwan, gave Vastatores a 2-0 cushion, but Assumption hit back with goals from X-League legend Gabir Nabil and an own goal. Ryan Sufiyan restored Vastatores’ lead, only for Jia Hao to equalize in the 72nd minute. However, the home side had the final say when Muhammad Suhaimi, nicknamed Mimi, scored the winner with five minutes left on the clock.

The week’s final fixture saw Sedap FC and Class FC play out a 1-1 draw. Sean Dias put Sedap ahead in the 39th minute, but Muhammad Shafiq denied them victory with a late equalizer. Sedap remain unbeaten, but their inability to convert draws into wins could prove costly.

  • Week 4: Beepelona FC secure first win of the season

Week 4 of the Sunday Premier League Division 3 brought plenty of drama and goals, with six teams in action across three fixtures. Beepelona FC faced Assumption Utd, Sedap FC took on league leaders Maoists FC, and a rejuvenated Triple X locked horns with Ulsan Boyz FC.

The opening game saw Beepelona FC notch their first win of the season with a commanding 4-2 triumph over Assumption Utd. Goals from Rafi Roslee and Khairul Rahmat gave Beepelona a 2-0 advantage, but Assumption Utd roared back with strikes from Alex Wee and Jia Hao to level the score. The comeback was short-lived, however, as Mikhail Shariff restored Beepelona’s lead before Rahmat sealed the deal with his second goal of the match.

In the second clash, Sedap FC held their ground against table-topping Maoists FC in a closely fought 1-1 draw. Nicholas Goh fired Maoists ahead in the 38th minute, but Julian Tan brought Sedap FC back into the contest with an equalizer early in the second half. The result saw Maoists drop points for the first time this season, while Sedap FC continued to impress in their debut campaign.

The final fixture of the week belonged to Ulsan Boyz, who surged to the top of the league with a thrilling 6-3 victory over Triple X FC. Hairul Huzaimi was the star of the show, netting a sensational hat-trick to lead his side to victory. Nasr Ryman and Ali Imran also contributed to the scoreline as Ulsan extended their unbeaten streak to three matches. The dominant display underscores their credentials as serious title contenders this season.

As the league heats up, all eyes will be on Ulsan Boyz and their in-form forward Huzaimi as they continue their quest for Division 3 glory.

  • Week 3: Eight-Goal Thrillers Light Up Division 3 Action

Week 3 of Division 3 in the Sunday Premier League delivered end-to-end action despite one marquee clash being postponed. The highly anticipated showdown between league leaders Maoists FC and Triple X was called off due to inclement weather. Still, the matches that did proceed offered plenty of fireworks, with eight goals scored across two games.

Ulsan Boys, fresh off their success in the 2024 SSL League Cup, finally found their rhythm in the X-League, earning their first win of the season with a thrilling 5-3 victory over Bedok Reservoir Punggol CSN. The hosts surged to a 2-0 lead, only to see it evaporate as Bedok Reservoir clawed back to make it 2-2 by halftime. The match remained finely poised at 3-3 with 10 minutes remaining before Ulsan Boys turned on the style. Late strikes from Azhar Bin Mohd Daud and Muhamad Zaheer Bin Zaini sealed a pulsating win for the home side, sending their fans into raptures.

Meanwhile, over at Fuhua Secondary, Sedap FC and FC Vastatores shared the spoils in a dramatic 4-4 draw. Sedap FC appeared to be cruising after taking a 3-1 lead into halftime, with goals from Saravanan Javahar, Julian Tan, and Ryan Emmanuel Pereira. However, FC Vastatores mounted an incredible second-half comeback. Benedict Sim and Ridzwan Azali, also known as Iwan, brought them level, with Is Hazwan (Awan) delivering the crucial equalizer just four minutes from the final whistle. While it was a stunning fightback for Vastatores, Sedap FC will rue their missed opportunity to secure their first win.

The draw sees FC Vastatores sit in fifth place with two points from three games, while Sedap FC climbs to seventh in the standings.

  • Week 2: Maoists Dominate as Triple X and Class FC Impress

Week 2 of Division 3 in the Sunday Premier League brought a flurry of goals, standout performances, and a commanding statement from Maoists FC. Sedap FC made their long-awaited X-League debut, while Triple X showcased their attacking prowess.

The first match of the week saw FC Vastatores and Maoists FC face off at Clementi Town Secondary. Fresh off a narrow win in Week 1, Maoists FC turned on the style, demolishing Vastatores 8-1. A first-half blitz saw Nicholas Goh and Leroy Liu each net twice, while Muhammad Rafiq added another to send the Maoists into halftime with a commanding 5-0 lead. Yan Zhi, Baxter Tan, and Benedict Sim piled on further misery for the visitors in the second half. Though Johnson Toh pulled one back for Vastatores in the 69th minute, it was little more than a consolation in what was a one-sided affair.

Over at Fuhua Secondary, Sedap FC made their X-League debut against Class FC. Saravanan Javahar put the debutants ahead in the 14th minute, and the home side held onto their 1-0 lead going into the break. However, the second half belonged to Class FC. Gabriel Ong struck immediately after the restart, leveling the score before Kaung Khant Minn clinched the winner in the 66th minute, handing Sedap FC a bittersweet welcome to the league. Final score: 2-1 to Class FC.

The final clash of the week saw Bedok Reservoir Punggol CSN searching for their first win of the season against Triple X. The visitors stunned the home side when Kerwin Cheng scored in the opening minute. However, Sadat Mesnadi equalized in the 28th minute to ensure a 1-1 deadlock at halftime. The second half was all about Triple X, as Hu Fuxing, Delon Lee, and Chun Haw struck to secure a resounding 4-1 triumph.

Division 3 continues to entertain with its unpredictability and drama.

  • Week 1: Division 3 Kicks Off with Thrills, Drama, and a Hint of Frustration

The opening week of Season 16 in Division 3 of the Sunday Premier League delivered a mix of results, from tense stalemates to nail-biting comebacks. Three matches marked the start of what promises to be an exciting campaign in the X-League.

The season opener at Clementi Town Secondary saw two newcomers, Ulsan Boys and Beepelona FC, lock horns in a highly anticipated encounter. Ulsan Boys, backed by an impressive resume of titles, were expected to shine, while Beepelona FC eagerly embraced their long-awaited debut in the league. However, both teams canceled each other out in a tightly contested 0-0 draw. Despite the lack of goals, there was no shortage of effort or grit. Ulsan Boys’ Mahendran and Beepelona’s Danial Rahzali earned Man of the Match honors for their stellar performances.

At Fuhua Secondary, Class FC and FC Vastatores delivered a more eventful 2-2 draw. Kaung Khant Minn gave Class FC an early lead in the 13th minute, only for Qamarul Haziq to restore parity before halftime. The second half saw Class edge ahead through Rajkiran Lalchand’s strike in the 59th minute, but the ever-reliable Ryan Sufiyan, a true league legend, salvaged a point for FC Vastatores with a late equalizer.

The final match of the weekend provided plenty of fireworks as Maoists FC edged Bedok Reservoir Punggol CSN 3-2 in a dramatic affair. A goalless first half gave way to a second-half goal fest. Mohammad Rizqullah Aqil broke the deadlock for Bedok Reservoir, but Louis Loo responded immediately for Maoists FC. Lutfil Hadi restored the home side’s lead in the 74th minute, only for Leroy Liu to equalize two minutes later. With the clock winding down, Louis Loo struck again with a last-gasp winner, sending the Maoists’ bench into raptures.

Division 3 is off to a thrilling start, with teams showing early glimpses of what they have to offer in this competitive campaign.
