A hard fought victory. Despite starting with only 8 players, Ace Galaxy had to dug deep to ensure a victory over a resilient FC Rovers. This was evident when FC Rovers took an early 2-0, where their long ball tactics worked. Ace Galaxy clawed back before half-time with goals from Botak and Anthony.
Second half saw Ace Galaxy organising the defence better. This translated into new confidence for the team when substitute Ashik piled on 3 goals. Ashik could have added on to his tally when two of his efforts hit the post. Botak scored the team's sixth goal before league debutant Shamir scored the final goal.
The result is a boost for the team after a winless 3-match streak and will be looking forward to the game against Adi-Dogg.
