After 2 weeks of non-competitive soccer,Ike Ike gained their confidence after their 2-1 win against BMFS.As expected,there was some rustiness in their play,but grit and teamwork did the trick for them.From front to back and back to front,every player was playing for each other. There was never a minute in the game where they are playing for individual glory.
Ike Ike took the lead after Mukhtar lay a beautiful through ball to Nizar,where he beat the offside trap and execute a wonderful chip over the keeper. BMFS managed to equalised the score through a penalty.But Ike Ike managed to get the winning goal in the 2nd half which was headed in by Syazwan from an inswing corner taken by Zaki. Not to forget our midfielder, Taufiq & Izuddin who put up an excellent performance throughout. BMFS was quite a tough opponent, yet with endurance & perseverance the team managed to go for a win. We would like to thank BMFS for a competitive a great match and all the best for future games.
