A reinforced Acolytes team with never before seen players were astutely handled by the Macs team who previously beat the Acolytes 8-1. Alas, it was not to be a walk in the park again for the Macs as they battled out a resilient Acolytes team to win 4-2. A good game of football save for a fracas involving several players resulting from an unprovoked push by an Acolytes player on a Macs player already being reprimanded by the referee for an unseeming foul. All was fair and good in the name of sportsmanship by the final whistle. A welcome goalscoring return from injury game for Macs striker Deepan.
