Highly motivated from our previous result, we kicked off the match at Turf City with great heat from the field & the weather.

Once again, Wolves started off slow and Avatar FC was much the better team in the early minutes of the game. Lack of composure & aggression from our side allowed Avatar FC to play their own comfortable game and denying us to play ours.

However, we started to pick the game up and carried on pressing them till every inch on the pitch. This allowed us to dominate and apply much pressure to the opponents and this is where they started to make mistakes.

PC was lucky to only receive a yellow card when he instantly brought the oppo striker down at the edge of the box. Could have been a straight red!

Referee wasn't having a good game as there was alot of calls against us. 50-50 situations were all given to the opponents and some were even faulted and led our players to receive yellows when it wasn't. Bad luck for Weihao & Edwin whom both were awarded yellow, bad call by the ref.

A clumsy tackle came in just few yards outside the box, Ryan Mok took it and delivers a deadly ball into the area. Skipping past the whole defence line, took an inch on the keeper's glove and just when Shawn Seah thought he could just comfortably nod the ball into the net, the ball hit the post first and rebound to Kelvin and just a tap past the line would do the job. 1-0!

Just few minutes later, an excellent wing play by Kelvin led to the 2nd goal. Coming back from his confinement week in serving national service, he had the hunger to play. Skipped past two defenders and finding himself just inside the box, squared the ball into 6-yards, little collision by Ryan & Benjamin with the defenders had the ball loose and Weihao was just at the right spot to pick it up and blast it into the net. Great play by Kelvin!

Started second half with two goals up and we controlling the game well. Opponents were slightly having a better passing game.

A through-pass from their centermid sliced our defense apart and allowed their striker to have a one-on-one chance and did his part in finishing it. 2-1 and 30minutes more to play.

Again, many calls from the referee was against us. Broke our momentum and we started to lose composure. Just when everything was goin against us, bad luck strikes us again. Welson was spotted bringingdown a player in the box when the fact is the opponent played much of an act to allow the referee to call for a penalty. Sent Clayton to the wrong direction and they equalized.

Although coming back from two goals down, Avatar FC were not in the driving seat. Many chances came close by Wolves and we failed to convert a winner. Alex, Ryan, Mark, Weihao, Melvin, Wenjie all came close into scoring a winner but the scoreline couldnt decide a winner.

Should have held on to our lead and win this, tough luck mates. Too many calls were against us, we played well but not good enough to secure a win. As we can see from our recent games, we conceded quite a fair bit of goals from 1-2 through passes that caught our fullbacks off guard to allow opponents to carry on and score. We are still lacking of consistency in the central midfield department, too often we find ourselves having a huge hole in the middle and lets try to improve and strengthen on it.

Players fielded: Clayton, Alastair, Deepak, PC, Hanxiang, Wayne, Benjamin, Melvin, Kelvin, Alex, Edwin, Welson, Wenjie, Shawn, Weihao, Ryan, Benedict, Mark, Gerald(guest)
