Opponent is quite an experience team and both were evenly matched. We scored 1st in the 27th min with Luqman and then our 2nd goal at the 70min with Fauzi. Opponent has a strong fighting spirit and push forward and scored 1 goal back in the 75min and the match ended 2-1 to East Celtics.
Team Report
Another defeat for Team Awesome in another hard fought match. You would be tempted to say that lady luck is not on Awesome's side, but poor finishing by our strikers caused us the game or at least from being able to rescue a point. Playing against an organised Celtic's defence, Team Awesome did very little to help their cause of getting a second win of the season.
Creating chance after chance but to no avail, Team Awesome paid for the lack of goals with quick counter attacking by Celtic for both goals conceded. Team Awesome eventually got a consolation through a tricky freekick taken by winger Saif which was deflected and somehow found the back of the net.
Team Awesome kept going for an equaliser but things were never meant to be and had to swallow the bitter pill of defeat yet again. However, the team showed great fighting spirit to keep going till the final whistle which truly reflected the true spirit of the game. Heads up Awesome!
