Team Report

Southern Flowers headed into the top of the table clash with Adi XI in fine spirits after their resounding victory the previous week. The early possession were dominated by Adi XI but SF kept their shape and concentration to repel the attacks. A cagey and competitive first half between the two sides ended goalless, capped by a strong and commanding display from MOTM dechea.

Southern Flowers slowly grew into the game and often looked to threaten on the counter attack. It paid off in the 70th minute as Bong was released and was clipped in the box. The flowers top scorer dusted himself before sending the keeper the wrong way.

There was to be further controversy as a quick counter attack saw a goalbound shot from Eun Seong denied by a defender on the line with his hands. Bong stepped up to score his second from the spot to seal a victory and 3 precious points.
