(Match report)
This fixture was started afresh despite Pos Utd leading 0-2 at half-time during the previous meeting when the game was postponed due to unplayable pitch conditions.
With the lack of players due to injuries & work commitments, MWFC had to field guest players to match the 2nd placing Pos Utd.
MWFC started well in the early minutes and held possesion with confidence and led a compact unit on the pitch. However, Wolves couldn't contain their holding midfielder and was allowed too much space to roam around to create opportunities for Pos Utd.
Once again, Wolves was trailing 2 goals behind at the break. Unfortunately, things got worst when Leonard suffered an injury after a clash with the goalkeeper.
Shane had a great opportunity to get one back but his effort was saved by the great reflexes of the opposition goalkeeper.
At 70 minutes, Wolves was down by 4 goals and a wonderful strike from the vice captain couldn't do much help to savage the situation neither.
Shane was awarded man-of-match for his continuous effort and his creativity on the pitch. Although his shot should have went in but nevertheless he was still the best player for MWFC side, keep it up!
Having lost 3 games in a row, Wolves have to step up their game in order to get back to their winning form. Better performance for the next game Wolves!
