Atlas conceded 3 early goals in the first half after a few errors. We tried to make a comeback firstly through dzulkhairi after a scramble in the box. Yayan then converted a penalty to make the score 3-2. Team awesome step up their game and scored 2 more goals. Navin scored another goal for atlas but it wasnt enough as team awesome frustrate us with a very solid defending performance.
Team Report
Looking to make things right, Team Awesome went all out attack right from the first whistle. Both teams played with a lot of heart and no one stepped away from any challenge.
The defence made up of Salim, Badrul, Rico and Zizi in the first half and also Amy joining in the second half looked like they meant business with firm tackles with no fear.
Atlas however drew first blood from a defence slip up but Team Awesome was never going to let this game slip again. We fought back and started to take control of the game and managed to get the lead.
3 goal hero yet again, Nordin put in a man of the match performance putting his personal goal tally to 6 this season.
Kudos to Atlas FC for a hard fought game and never giving up, in true fighting spirit of the game.
