Team Report

1st Half:
Schwarz Star is a new name this season and Newton sets up 2 of our seniors- Fir.ORG and Bo together with our JB family team Nazarildo and Amirul assisting in the setting. Schwarz appears to be good team in the first few minutes pushing their attacks pressuring Newtons to hold back. With the command at defend- Nazar and midfield- Fir.ORG, Newton began to open up its attack through Norizwan and Nashrin speed. In the 9th minute the force distraction breaks loose for Bo to control his solo into the penalty box to score with his left foot for Newton’s 1st goal- Bo 1-0. Few chances were created when Bo had his second chance at the goal while Norizwan shots’ wide. Defensively, Newtons were well organize from the control in the midfields Harith and Fir.ORG producing both stopping the balls in the play area and distributing play roles on Newtons attacking mode. In the 20th minutes, Rasull swap to the right for Norizwan in the striking energy. The combination from Nazar and Kuma at defense with midfields was excellent work well with Fir.ORG assists and fabricate attacks for a break on the speed when Norizwan was fouls in the box. Nazar took the spot kick for Newtons 2nd goal- Nazar 2-0. 10 minute before the break Nazrin for Putra and Rasull for Haziq just another trial to evaluate tactical formation. Hilmi has evolved in his experience with more room for improvement especially his fitness. Nazrin is yet to keep up his stamina and more game in this level of tournament. Kuma is doing well in every game he performs, but still hiccups here and there. Rasull his 1st game in X-league still new and will achieve his goal. Three cheers for Nashrin another clean performance no YELLOW/RED. Deserve lead in this half demonstrate control, discipline and team effort by Nazar, Fir.ORG and Bo Yanni. As for the youth, our coaching method- to project fair play in reverse psychology intimidates the opposing team; upon this achievement the weight of the game intensity will reflects on the opposing team, therefore better control.
2nd Half:
Few changes made- Hykal J, Haziq, Adi and Zarie another experiment allowing the manager to be able to use few cards up his sleeves with the talents of new faces. In defense Hykal J. has been exceptional while Haziq and Adi needs more work on them in practice. The flow is some what different on the left, Adi slow at reading of the game short on his speed. Haziq needs to develop more control on his desired play executions and decision choices. The control from Harith and Fir.ORG combine with Nazar and Kuma possess the key in the set when Newtons produces more chances, Zarie control square for Bo in front of goalkeeper to put it wide. On the 3rd minutes into the game, the force of speed again earns Newton a corner and was not dealt with defensively when Norizwan receive a pump-in high ball from the left for him to just direct the ball with his inside right foot over the right corner of the keeper’s goalmouth, 3rd goal- Norizwan 3-0. Twenty minutes before full time: Kuma for Haziq, Zafrie for Fir.ORG and Haikal Vorm for Amirul another youngsters to test and experience the value of the tournament and appreciate the level of the game. Schwarz Star began to produce chances and manage to stir Newton’s midfield breaking through chances after chances. Allowing Schwarz Star provoking the defense Newtons began to fall deep and the flair movement on the left became dull. The weight of attacks shifted more from the right sensing the weakness charge from Adi and decided to swap Zarie to the left and Adi more on the attacking strike. In this instance fumble inside the box and again was not dealt by, Adi strike deflected, the ball bounce over the defender and hit the top bar bounced crossed the line and referee awarded the goal, 4th goal- Adi 4-0. Newton continues to perform lacking of strength in the midfield and dropped deep allowing Schwarz Star to play football and the young keeper Haikal Vorm saves and blocks few tries when the attacking pressure creeps in for Hykal J. committed a foul inside the box to give away penalty for Schwarz Star to score from the penalty spot 4-1. The combination between Harith and Fir.ORG was better, only Zafrie’s first time playing with Harith and Nazar the main key of the set. It was a good performance for Newton’s new faces and the development program as a whole. With out doubt, more work to be done to polish the weakness side of the team and players over all.

Team Report

A afternoon to be forgotten for SSFC players.

SSFC lost 4-1 to Newton with Kevin scoring a consolation penalty in the 75th min. Man of the Match Leslie ran havoc through Newton's defence and earned SSFC a penalty. Harsh decision by ref awarded the killer 2nd goal (penalty) to Newton but the 3rd goal was a beauty.

"The opponents are very good ... tactically astute... have to give credit to a tactical opponent."
