Sparta Cowboys vs NEFC

A fixture promised to boast gunfights and fire blazes was no short of fiery passion with top class sportsmanship.
Results: 2 casualties(1 from each side) & 4 yellow cards (2 from each side)

Balanced as it may seem, NEFC eventually won against a usually strong side only lacking depth and a few missing regulars this time round

NEFC started steadily, settled in early and managed to to take the lead with Aciq getting on a scoresheet 10 mins into the game. Receiving a reverse pass over the top of defence, he made no mistakes in making it count.

A series of serious hard running from Zaid was finally reciprocated with a cooly slotted finish on the 19th min. A deserving goal for our beloved Abyzz who started it all with a switch to the right wing finding Zaid.

As we head towards the break, a brilliant build play resulted in yet another well taken goal courtesy of our very own Satayboy Luqman. 31st min Eastroids up by 3.

Half Time 0-3

2nd half was a whole different story as the Cowboys came back strongly with possible tactical changes. Playing on the counter, the cowboys almost pulled one back however the finish went to the wrong side of the post.

42nd min, a sudden stroke of genius or a sheer fluke of nature one may argue, saw NEFC go 4 up. Zad floated a wicked curler with his left from the right side to find the net on the top left hand corner. We were instantly reminded of Ronaldinhos goal vs England beating David Seaman.

NEFCs numerous attacks were then broken down by the resilient Spartans. NEFC then were kept at bay til end of the game. Unfortunately, Spartas gameplan of catching NEFC on the break soon faded away when they went a man down through a bad ankle injury.

FT: 0 - 4

We, the whole of NEFC, sincerely wish Spartas injured personnel a speedy recovery.
Also a special mention to Spartas Captain No. 7 Mr Norahman for a great display of sportsmanship in handling in-game situations and also for lending a hand in ushering out NEFCs casualty. Thank you Man, thank you Sparta Cowboys, thank you all.

See you guys soon. All the best.
