We manage to score 2 goals in the 1st Half, followed by a 3rd goal in the middle of the 2nd half. However the opponent continue to fight back and manage to score and make it 3-1.
We continued to press on and a defense lapse by the opponent allow Min to score our 4th goal to make it 4-1. The gap was just too much for opponent.
Team Report
It was a depleted Lionheart having to play the game with only 10 men. Celtic made the advantage count as they raced to a 2-0 lead. Despite the numerical disparity, Lionheart fought hard and kept the scoreline low. The second half was an elevated performance. The team parked the bus, the lorry and the kitchen sink. However, Celtic managed to counter an attack and we found ourselves 3-0 down. True to the club's motto, we did not surrender, and brought the game to the Celts. We pushed hard, and Wawan scored a screamer from 15 yards out, ricocheting off the right post and nestled into the back of the net. The keeper was stunned like vegetable.
The team kept pressing, and the Celts were clearly in panic. We seemed to be close to narrowing the scoreline, but the 80th minute mark came too soon.
