Team Report
No time for a proper write up, so I will be short. We started very well against Sisilaq, in fact their defensive line is weakest among other teams we have played so far. Nevertheless, they are quite creative in attack using lots of one-two combinations. We scored first from narrow angle one-on-one thanks to Anthony, he likes this type of shots 1-0. Sisilaq quickly replied with 2 of their own following our defensive lapses 1-2. We then equalized through Samir's surge into the box 2-2. Sisilaq scored again through their heavy-built striker pouncing on a loose ball at edge of the penalty box, our goalie parried the ball but only into goal post from which it went in 2-3. We have equalized again on the last minute through Anthony's header 3-3. In the second half, we have changed our formation in order to improve defensive line for the sake of attack. It did work for the first 25 mins but we were unlucky not to score. Yet again, 2 of our own defensive mishaps brought another 2 quick goals and final score 3-5. One of the poorest games by us in the last 2 seasons. Goalkeeper is not helping as well. We have now lowered our season goal from "fight for 3rd place" to "survive relegation." We now let in 16 goals in 4 matches while only allowing 27 in 14 last season. MOM to Sisilaq's heavy-built guy for his fantastic efforts despite an overweight look (may missed the correct shirt number though). Anthony gets our MOM for 2 goals.
