Dboys continued their 5 game winning streak in style. However, the game had 2 halves to comment on. Dboys welcomed back their Star Keeper Arvin and it was also a testimonial match for Casper, who was flying back to his maiden country. Dboys were missing their starlet duo of Sasi and Reshi. However, they had Siva and Ming to spearhead their attack.

The first half was all about Woodgrove FC. The team was no longer the same team whom Dboys played in their first game. The team was more dangerous and tactical due to their impressive manager. They kept Dboys in the back seat for most of the game and threw wave after waves of attack at Dboys. However, Dboys stood strong. Experienced player, Azarudeen, was like a steel wall at the back. The negative point was that Dboys did not even attack in the first half and even when they attacked, it came to no use.

A motivating talk by Captain Viknesh moved the team in the 2nd half. Dboys, known for their fast moving attacks, used that against Woodgrove FC. Casper and Ming were running riot in the midfield. The goal finally came in the 49th min via a set-piece. An excellent free kick from Casper found Ming at the near post who nodded in from close range to make it 1-0 for Dboys. That was all Dboys needed. Dboys had the game in hand. Dboys secured the game 10mins from the end when an excellent run on the right by Joseph was then put into the own net by the Woodgrove FC defence.

The game ended off 2-0 to Dboys. It was a very tough and important win for Dboys who have a 2 weeks break before meeting their rivals Team LP, in a game which could be the title decider for both teams.
