Knowing that Woodgrove FC had lost their previous game, Dboys knew that they only need a win to be Champions. However things did not start in Dboys favour. As the game started off, the opponents were very rough and playing dirty football. Despite that, the opponents went into a 2 goal lead against Dboys. Expect the unexpected. An excellent 1-2 between Joseph and Sasi, saw sasi through on goal with just the GK to beat. However, he was pulled down by the defender. The penalty was awarded. However, what was surpirising was that the defender, who was already on a yellow card, had committed a goal scoring foul which deserved to be a red car. The referree ignored Dboys protest. Sasi slotted in the penalty to make it 2-1. The equaliser came just in time before the half time. A clearence from Azar was not handled well by the opponents defence. Ismail, just sneaked behind the opp defence and headed the ball past the on rushing gk. 2-2 to Dboys and half time arrived.

The second half started off brightly for Dboys. An excellent cross by Ravi on the right was then deflected into the goal by the opponents defender. 3-2 to Dboys. The opponents kept pegging back for the equaliser but Dboys stood firm. The game was settled when Captain Viknesh, a free kick specialist, calmly took a free kick which sneaked inbetween the wall into the bottow corner of net. 4-2 to dboys. The final nail in the coffin was put when a mix up by the opponent defence put Ravi through on goal in which cooly chipped over the keeper to make it 5-2.

The final whistle went and DBOYS WERE CHAMPIONS with 1 game to go!!
