Team Report

Malik & Bazil protect Heart sparks against Eastroid Tsunami.

It's a game that for Eastroids to lose but for us to gain. Sitting uncomfortablelying at the the top of the table against us bottom but willing to learn & benefit from every game experience. Nothing but a draw will give them something to pounder upon.

We started well closing eastdroids every attacking move & push them back towards their defence. solid display at the back Marshall by Malik & tough tackling Eman frustrate Eastroids on several occation.

Then after winning the midfield battle against Eman, Eastroid striker unleashed a low shot to the bottom corner. 1-0 to Eastroids. Another fine move by Eastroids that lead to a tap in 2nd goal.

We manage to put 1 back after a free-kick from Malik who directed the ball to their keeper whom fumbled the ball to the path of Syafiq for easy tap in.

2-1 to Eastroids At halftime. With 1 goal down, we believe we can produce a shock of the season if we can keep up with our game.

As the 2nd half starts to mature, fatigue level continue to surface. Malik run tirelessly to Marshall the midfield while Bazil kept himself busy by preventing a Tsunami of attack by easroids.

But Bazil resilience could not could not prevent Eastroids to flush the ball into our net. 2 Goals from eastroids team play. Hamzah was penalised for handball inside the penalty box even though the ball hit his hand when he was lying down with his hand at his stomach. Penalty! Hmmmm

Like the last game, eastroids scored with their 2nd attempt due to their infringement.
5-1.

6th goals cones from along shots over outstretched Hafiz. A top class goal & A Photo finished by Eastroids.

It was a Great game & pleasure to play. We wish eastroids a success in the years to come.

For us, it's have been an enjoyable debut season with great learning experience that will motivate us to improve in our remaining game & work on our strength for next season.

Team Report

HSFC vs NEFC

A special thank you to X-League organizers for the effort of allowing us to experience arguably the best venue local amateur football has to offer.

The only down was the weather. We had to wait another week to experience this after the previous fixture vs Saprta @ Turf City was cancelled due to bad weather.

As always NEFC started cautiously. Only after 15 minutes, NEFC managed to find the net.
Faris with yet another left foot screamer of a shot finding the bottom corner of the goal.

Heart Sparks were no pushovers. We all knew that. A team in which its true potential is deceivingly reflected in the league table. NEFC had no choice but to pick up the tempo responding to Heart Sparks quick counters.

Zam finished off a classic NEFC tiki taka build up move to secure a gift only NEFC was able to present to the birthday boy. We hope you enjoyed that bro.

After the break Heart Sparks came back strongly and pulled a gaol back from a tap in following a well weighted freekick. Game was on. HSFC 1-2.

With a little luck, NEFC got lucky with Luqman scoring another goal assisted by Aciq. A cooly picked top corner finish topping off a swift counter down the left flank. 2 goals on 2 games.

Aciq was not about to back down as he competes for top honours. 2 goals in quick succession. On from open play, and another from the spot, retaken penalty. 61st and 64th min respectively.

Heart Sparks continued to show resilience with no.7 and no.24 giving NEFC constant problems down the flanks.

Last goal came in the 75th min out of nowhere. Mr Khaled's had work and gighting spirit allowed the ball to break into the path of NEFC's No.9 setting him up perfectly. Having spotted the high defence line of HSFC as well as their keepers some way of the line, a 35 yards lob shot was despatched. 2-3 seconds of silence broke into deafening cheers as the ball hots the back of the net. Simply not somthing anyone will be able to experience on a week in weekout basis. A special moment for NEFC No.9. Especially when its his 1st goal of the season.
Well worth the wait. FT: HSFC 1 - 6 NEFC.

Thank you HSFC for the experience. We value the sporting nature of a team like yours and we wish you well. We hope to witness the true potential of HSFC unveiled in due time. What a pool of young talents! Good Luck!
